My approach integrates a number of different styles and techniques, including Integral Coaching, Leadership Development, Somatic Intelligence, Systemic Constellations for Business, and the Enneagram.
Prior to becoming a corporate coach, I worked in investment banking with Citigroup, South Africa, for the most part as a Senior VP, overseeing multinational clients across a number of varied vertical industry sectors. I also managed the international business segment for CEEMEA from Brussels and London, covering 16 industries across 38 countries. My experience in international business and banking structures has proved an indispensable platform for relating to and understanding the variation of challenges facing my clients.
As a coach, my core motivation is to help clients identify real meaning and purpose in their roles, given the speed and pressures of their external working environments. I do this by enabling the client to shift their perspective – creating self-awareness through mindfulness, building a resilient, grounded inner self, and helping them develop a new understanding of their patterns. In doing so, I aim to unearth latent potential, and help them learn how they go about using that potential to achieve their desired goals.
I also look at how the client represents him/herself, their life, habits, relationships, body awareness, and self-care, as well as the amount of attention and energy that is available for change.
